Are there penalties for abuse of power; violations of Oath of Office; lying to the People; corruption; treason?

I would assume so, at least in the case of corruption and treason.

Well, you know what THEY say about times we "assume".... it is especially applicable when we assume government has checks and balances in place to keep itself in check and in balance.

Placing a 'D' behind ones name, when running for political office seems to go a long long way toward holding a permanent "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE" card. (although there are also some with a little 'r' after their name, who are given more margin for "error".)

I wonder when the big 'G' party will make its appearance on the ballots. (Globalist Party... Oh that's right, they use financial influence (outright purchasing power) to keep from directly getting their paws dirty.)
